Arthur Nuttle Obituary
NUTTLE, Arthur Edwin - age 88, of Fenton passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Paul Mabry officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery, Otisville. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Arthur was born May 21, 1935 in Flint, the son of Clarence Lester and Lucy (Blagg) Nuttle. He was a 1953 graduate of Otisville High School. Not long after graduation on July 28, 1953 he married the love of his life, Lillian May Cook in Davison. Arthur was a Supervisor with General Motors and retired in 1992 from the GM Proving Grounds. He enjoyed working on old Volkswagens, tinkering, and fishing.
Surviving are: his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Lillian; 3 children, Judy Nuttle Hamilton, William (Tracy) Nuttle, Bradley Nuttle; 6 grandchildren, Brenda (TJ) Cavanaugh, Rhonda Schotten, Dan Johnston, Steve (Candice Ruth) Johnston, Andrew Nuttle, Sarah Nuttle; 6 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Debra Kirby; sisters, Hallie, Norma Jean, Doris; and brother, Clarence. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
