Arthur Olson Obituary
BARRE – Arthur Ernest Olson, died on December 11, 2025, at 69 years of age in Barre Gardens in Barre, VT. Arthur was born on March 8, 1956, to John and Cecile Olson (Valley) in Barre, VT.
He was a lover of music, and he had a very deep love of all animals. Arthur served in the National Guard for over a decade in his youth and had a beautiful gift as a painter. He was a wonderful father, brother, and son, and he was the kindest most devoted, loving, and loyal friend that almost never comes to anyone in their lifetime. He will leave a deep and unfillable hole in the lives of his best friend Catherine Webster, her children Jacob and Katie, and her granddaughter Michelle. He had a wonderful silly sense of humor and could light up any room he walked into. He will be greatly missed and losing him has changed our lives forever.
He is survived by his sisters Marie Olson Badeau (Lenny), Theresa Olson, and grandchildren Darwin Marsh, Genae Miller, Grace Gaskin, and Victoria Gaskin.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers John Olson Jr. and Gus Olson, and his two daughters Aimee Olson and Angela Gaskin.
Arrangements are in the care of Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St. in Barre.
