Mr. Arthur “Brown Skin” Parris, was born on March 22, 1953, in Mitchell County, Georgia. He was the ninth child of thirteen born to the late Mr. R. C. and Mrs. Ruby Parris.
At an early age, he attended Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur County, Georgia. Mr. Parris worked as a Brick Mason for many years. “Brown Skin” loved to fish.
On Monday, November 20, 2023, Arthur departed his earthly life at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. He will be missed by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by eight of his twelve siblings.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories three children: Arthur Parris Jr., Jermiah Parris, Brounrick Parris, all of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren; two brothers, Rasbery Parris of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Calvin Parris of Des Moines, Iowa; three sisters: Lillie Bailey, Sharon Parris, and Acenith Parris, all of Bainbridge; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
