Arthur Brian Poull, age 75 of Ottawa, IL passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. He was born on February 9, 1950 in Aurora, IL the son of Carl and Ada (Mullen) Poull Jr.

Arthur was united in marriage in 1970 to Miss Brenda Ellison and they spent the next 50 years happily together until her passing on June 17, 2021. He was employed by several local grocery stores in management until his retirement. Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Theresa (Herb) Young of Mena, AR, Brian (Denise) Poull of Plainfield, IL, Greggory (Alicia) Poull of Aurora, IL; his seven grandchildren; and his seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Poull; his parents, Carl and Ada Poull Jr.; his brothers, Eddy, Mark, Jack, Michael and Robert Poull.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL. Interment will follow in Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
