Arthur C. Probst age 90 of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 15, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Carl and Dorothy (Jaggers) Probst. Art was very involved in the Cedar Springs Community and the LIONS Club. He was a hard worker who took over the Probst Furniture Store in Cedar Springs, he owned and operated it until age 82. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn whom he married on September 15, 1961; son, Alan (Mercedes) Probst; daughter-in-law, Helen Probst; grandchildren, Austin Probst and Mikayla Probst; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kurt Probst; brothers, David and Don Probst. A private family service will be held at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Jason P. Peterson officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 310 E. Division St., Rockford, MI 49341.
