I was so saddened to hear this news. Although it's been many years since I've seen Skip, I feel grateful to have known him and for the memories I have of him. Skip was a bright light with a gentle soul; charming, sweet, funny and such a gifted artistic talent. He was my favorite person to run into at a party, with his fun storytelling, or just to hang out with as a friend and neighbor. Laughter was a part of most conversations, although he would be serious and caring too when it mattered. After all he went through, it was heartwarming to read that Skip was able to pursue his love of art and music with the support and love of those close to him. I loved seeing this picture of his smiling face.
My deep sympathies to Mimi, Ernie and HB.
Skip, I wish you peace and love and joy. My thoughts of you will always bring a smile.

Went to Delbarton with Skip. He was a very talented artist, and remember him playing bass in a power trio band with Clive Smith at a dance. Although I had not seen him since before his life altering accident, glad to hear he overcame the challenges. R.I.P. Skip.
