Arthur J. Stoddard, aged 69, passed away on November 11, 2025 in Sumterville, Florida. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Erwin and Dorthy Stoddard on January 27, 1956.
Arthur was a proud United States Navy veteran, serving from 1976 to 1999. During his distinguished military career, he participated in the Persian Gulf War, including Operation Desert Shield. His service was recognized with honors such as the Liberation of Kuwait Medal. Arthur held the rank of Damage Control Chief (DCC) in the Navy.
After completing his military service, Arthur earned an Associate's degree in science from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida. He then dedicated ten years of his professional life to a Cardiovascular Technologist at Dade City Hospital in Florida.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Rhonda C. Stoddard, his sister Linda Kwaitkowski and her husband Paul of Spring Hill FL, and his sister Valerie and her husband Richard Bidwell of Lehigh Acres FL, his brother John Stoddard and his wife Rebecca, of Enfield, CT, stepson Dennis Gonzalez of Sun City, FL, grandsons Devin Gonzalez, Sean Chamorro, and a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews.
Arthur is remembered for his kindness, humor, and devotion to family, survived by his wife, siblings, and extended family, he leaves behind a legacy cherished by those who knew him. Arthur's acts of kindness, humor, and dedication will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.
