Arthur Bert Trowbridge, 90 years, of Farmington Hills, MI, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born in Southfield, Michigan on November 4, 1934 to Emmett & Dolly Trowbridge.
Bert was married to Cynthia on March 12, 1955 and they were able to celebrate 70 years together.
Bert worked as a Power Service Leader for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1992 after 39 years of faithful work history. He was a very gifted athlete and could have gone pro for both baseball & hockey. He was also an avid golfer right up into his early 80's and probably could have played pro for that sport too! He also loved to hunt & fish. And he was a really sharp pinochle player too! He and Cynthia enjoyed travelling around the USA & Canada. Their favorite trip together was an amazing Alaskan cruise. He was also actively involved in the church, a deacon, and pitching in for any work or tasks that needed doing. He loved to witness for the Lord, passing out tracts to anyone he came into contact with & telling them about Jesus.
Bert is survived by his wife Cynthia; daughters Laura (John) Savitskie, and Carrie Trowbridge, as well as grandchildren, Gary James, Lance, Amanda, Jessica, Michael, Tiffany and multiple great grandchildren.
Bert is preceded in death by his sons Steven and Gary.
Visitation will be held at Bethel Baptist Temple in Livonia on May 29 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM with funeral service held directly after.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Bethel Baptist Temple's missionary fund as this was very important to Bert. Envelopes will be available at the church for your donations. Online donation may be made through this link https://secure.myvanco.com/L-Z32K/home
