Arturo Cortez-Silva Obituary
Kayden was born June 17, 2005 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Kathy Lynn Grove and James Trevis Newman.
He is survived by mother, Kathy Grove; father, James Trevis Newman and his wife, Brandon; siblings, Seantona Newman, Trevis Newman and wife, Amber; grandmother, Patricia F. Grove; aunts and uncles, Tonya Newman, Melissa Grove Pennington, Derrick Newman, Christine Grove, Fay and Michael Mullin, Karen Fortun (fairy) godmother; nieces and nephews, JaKobe Newman, Haveah Cooper, Amani Williams, Sylas Newman, Beckett Newman; cousins, Kirsten Mullin, Nathaniel Mullin, Brittany Newman, Crystal Rosales, DeSean Newman, Destiny Hundall, Derrick Stucky, Jaquan Ketchem, Madison Newman, Devon Franklin, Damien Pennington, and Tevah Jett Basham.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John David Grove, Cecelia Newman, James Newman, and great grandmother, Rebecca Holmes.
His warmth, laughter, and passion for life will never be forgotten, as loved ones celebrate the memories and stories shared with him. The legacy of Kayden La'Trell Newman will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he touched.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Winchester Bible Church, Winchester, Virginia with Pastor Will Basham officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow the memorial service with location to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kayden Newman Fund, c/o Enders & Shirley Funeral, P.O. Box 106, Berryville, VA 22611.
