Arturo (72), Husband of Carmen Maria Santisteban and beloved father to Andrew and Alexander (Alex) Santisteban passed away on November 8th, 2025
Arturo was born February 14th,1953, the third child to Eudaldo Arturo Sanitsteban and Maximiliana Santisteban in Bayamo, Cuba. He left Cuba with his parents, and siblings, Elizabeth Donet, David Santisteban, and Daniel Santisteban in September of 1962 and immigrated to the United States, where his family settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Arturo married Carmen Maria in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 2rd, 1973. They married at Central Baptist Church where both families were long time members, and Arturo’s father was a deacon. Arturo sang in the choir at the church and was very involved. They moved to Orlando, Florida to start a new life and a family in the late 70’s. Arturo and Carmen raised and loved two sons that they adopted at birth, Andrew Santisteban was adopted in September 1984, and they adopted their second son Alexander (Alex) Santisteban in February 1986. Arturo started his career at Regal Boats as a purchasing manager. Arturo was a committed man to his faith, and in the 90’s the Lord open an opportunity for Arturo to share his love for Christ in the greater Orlando community, as a facilities director at Parkway Baptist Church, Aloma Baptist Church and he retired in March 2025 after 15 years with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission where he served the homeless community through the love of Jesus. Arturo and Carmen were married for 52 years. Family was everything to Arturo, and he did everything he could to always keep his family first.
He is survived by his wife Carmen M. Santisteban, his two sons Andrew Santisteban and Alexander (Alex) Santisteban, His five grandchildren Madison E. Brannon, Giana N. Santisteban, Micah A. Santisteban, Jordyn B. Santisteban, and Isabella G. Santisteban. He is also survived by his oldest sister Elizabeth Donet, older brother Dr. David Santisteban, and youngest brother Dr. Daniel Santisteban.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 17th at Eastland Baptist Church at 9000 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32825.
The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the service to follow at 6:00 pm.
The Committal Service will be held on November 18th at Chapel Hill Cemetery at 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
The family would like to invite all who would like to join the committal service and share about Arturo Santisteban at 11am.
