Asa Colvin Moseley, 96, of McDonough, GA died February 12, 2026. He was born in Henry County, GA on January 6, 1930, the son of Asa and Hattie Elliott Moseley.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 70 years, Shirley Chappell Moseley, his brother Kenneth Moseley and sisters Betty Sherrill, Gussie Cawthon, Carolyn Latimer, Joyce Reagin and Judy Anderson. He is survived by his children Cynthia (Jack) LeCroy, Asa Jr. (Donna) Moseley and Joy (Mark) Puckett, 8 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by 37 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Moseley graduated from the University of Georgia and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He was in banking for 38 years, retiring in 1992 from SunTrust Bank in McDonough. He was an officer in the Army from 1952 to 1954.

He was a faithful member of Ozias Primitive Baptist Church joining in 1944 and serving as a church clerk, deacon, and treasurer.

He was beloved and highly respected by his family, neighbors, and friends. He will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Ozias Primitive Baptist Church, 3389 Hwy 155 S. Stockbridge, Ga 30281. Internment in the church cemetery immediately following the service. Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, 2580 Hwy 42 N. McDonough, GA 30253.

The Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to Ozias Cemetery Trust Fund mailed to Glenn Latimer, 605 Woods CT. McDonough, GA 30252. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
