Asher Javaherian Obituary
Age 89, of North Fayette Twp., on Friday, August 29, 2025. Beloved husband of Karen (Brown) Javaherian. Dear father of Robin Javaherian and Tracy (Glen) Johnson. Loving grandfather of Hannah Javaherian and Greta Johnson. Also survived by many Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. Asher was the first in his family to immigrate to the USA from Shiraz, Iran. He studied and obtained his Civil Engineering Degree at Lincoln University of Missouri. He worked for the Highway Department in Illinois and later moved to California. He was a small business entrepreneur owning various businesses in California. Later he moved to Pittsburgh, PA to be with family and loved spending time with his granddaughters. Asher enjoyed gardening, cooking recipes from the old country, and watching shows about animals.
Family and friends are welcome to a Graveside Service, 11 AM Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Tree of Life Memorial Park, 2060 Reis Run Rd., Pgh 15237. Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp., 15220.
