We were so sorry to hear of Ashley's death, at far too young an age. This is a fabulous photo of her, looking so vibrant and full of life! The disease that took her life is a tragedy. We wish there were better cures. May the loss of her life inspire others to find them. Our thoughts go out to her whole extended family, of which we are a part.

Heading Northbound on November 6th,
The Highway miles seemed to evade me.
As I climbed the terrain all around the presence of Ashley came upon me. Vivid was the hue.
As if the birth of autumn struck me suddenly. The colors of the trees, the beauty of the landscape increasingly upon the horizon. The season, crisp, bright, sun shining Imprinting my senses everlasting Ashley Orange.
Nearer to the Delaware Water Gap the river, with earths cavernous natural surroundings, so vivid and so gently led the way,
Ashley Orange.

Life Breathed life in my hollowed soul as if Ashley had spoken and said, your almost home Heather...
And I am all around you, follow the river...
As the crimson leaves had not fallen...and I knew. It was my beloved young loved one saying...I am here.
I am the earth.

I met Ashley through my nephew, Jon West and my sister Bridget West. We would talk via Facetime whenever I would call Philly as I live in Fl. I finally met her a few weeks ago at my other nephew's wedding, Michael White's Wedding. She was so lovely and down to earth. Her children are a delight. She will be missed as she touched not only my nephew's heart, she touched our's as well. Sleep Well Sweet Angel.
