Ashley J. Patterson-Taylor

Ashley J. Patterson-Taylor, of Rockford departed this earthly life November 7, 2025. She was born November 14, 1982 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Matie Taylor and Bruce Patterson. Ashley was a self-employed Locktician at Touched by Ashley. She was also employed as a printer by Amazon. Ashley attended Sheffield High School in Memphis, TN where she had taken up ROTC and Science and Physics. She attended 1 year at Job Corps while in Memphis, TN

Ashley leaves to cherish many loving memories, her mother Mattie (Donald) Dismuke; three brothers, Bruce, Tony and Antoine Patterson; fiancée, Precious Banks; maternal grandparents Evelyn and Wilbur Brooker; a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren, cousins other relatives and friends including god daughter, Aanya Baldwin; special family friends who she loved like her children, Taneil, Taniah, Perrion Banks; and special family friend, who she loved like a grand son, Tru Banks; special cousins, Penny Cotton, Kamesha Horton and Kila Berry. She was predeceased by her father; two sisters, Lacrecia Dismuke-Taylor and Sherita Patterson-Taylor.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday November 21, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
