Our dad was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, elder brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Shakuntala Ashok Patel, his children Purvi, Jeshika (Vishal), and Amit, and his beloved grandchildren Reyan and Siya Patel.
Dad was a gentle and quiet man who worked hard his entire life. After marrying mom he moved to Lusaka, Zambia where they had two daughters. After a short stay they immigrated to the America where they had a son and built a life with his children. He worked multiple jobs and never complained while providing for his family. His greatest joy in life was his family and his world centered around his beloved grandchildren.
He was charismatic and a friend to all. He will be missed by so many people but most especially by his wife, children, and grandchildren. His sudden loss has completely shattered us, but we will truly carry his memory and spirit in our hearts forever.
