Attilio "Phil" DiCenzo

Attilio Philip (Phil) DiCenzo of Pembroke, MA formerly of Brookline, MA passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024 after a period of failing health, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Barbara DiCenzo of 45 years and father of Jeffrey DiCenzo and his wife Erin of Mansfield, Attilio DiCenzo and his wife Shelah of Plymouth and John DiCenzo of Northbridge.
Devoted brother of Diane Kelly, Linda Mello, Suzanne Twomey, Pauline Crowley and her husband Michael Crowley all of Brockton.
Cherished grandfather of Ryan DiCenzo (25), Danielle DiCenzo (22), Corey DiCenzo (21), Erin DiCenzo (20), Lydia DiCenzo (19), Leonard DiCenzo (5), Santino DiCenzo (4), Luca DiCenzo (1) and Rocco DiCenzo (1).
Phil was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Brookline, MA where he attended Brookline High School. Due to his love of carpentry, he joined the Carpenter's Union where he was a hard working Union member for several years. He later joined the Tunnel Worker's Union working on Deer Island where he was known as "Tan-Man" by his fellow Local 88 Sandhog buddies.
He enjoyed going to the beach, gardening and traveling. Phil had a passion for music, billiards, darts and bowling. He was also an avid Boston sports fan who loved the Red Sox and Patriots. Phil's biggest love was spending time with his family. He was also a donor to the disabled veterans and wounded warriors.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend services on Sunday July 14, 2024 at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will conclude with a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m.
