Aubrey Katherine Seitz was born on March 25, 1988 in Ft. Bragg, NC. She was the first-born child to Dena (and Terry) Bacon and Robert (and Sandra) Seitz. The first granddaughter and first great granddaughter.
As a baby Aubrey did everything early, as a toddler she walked for a moment then took off to see the neighborhood with her trusty dog always close beside. She swam like a fish before she was 2 and took off the training wheels at 3. Aubrey was brave, she never met a stranger and was always ready for the next adventure, anytime, anywhere.
Aubrey graduated from Savanna High School in May 2006. She worked at Balls BBQ for many years and greatly enjoyed and loved those she worked with and the customers. Aubrey loved to go boating on the lake, fish, hunt arrowheads, dance and sing (even though she could never remember the words). She brought excitement to every gathering with family and friends.
She decided to go to CNA school and loved caring for patients. While working full time she attended LPN school and was so very happy and proud when she graduated. She excelled as a Nurse, loved her patients, caring deeply for each one; and her nursing friends were wonderful mentors and guides. She wanted to do more with her nursing career and there is no doubt she would have accomplished much.
Aubrey was happy, loved her children deeply, smiled, her big beautiful smile, and laughed with complete joy. She would want us to live completely, laugh and don't hold it in, sing loud, love hard and make better choices.
Aubrey is survived by her children: Sabyn Kade, Soul Matthew, and Salem Jo; her parents: Dena and Terry Bacon, and Robert and Sandra Seitz; her sisters: Chelsea Seitz, Kristen O'Dell and husband DJ, and Taylor Howard and husband Tyler; her grandparents: Walter Battles, Wilma and Sam Logan, and Imogene Bacon; her uncles: Brian and Nancy Battles, Bruce and Natalie Battles, Noel and Stephanie Logan, Cameron and Charlotte Logan, Steven and Jan Seitz; her nieces/nephews: Maximila, Chaslee, CJ, Sophia, Janson, Emberlyn, and Serenity; her cousins: Lake, Courtney, and Dalton Battles, Karsten, Sutton and Brinley Battles, Samantha Logan and Jack Logan, Moira, Paige, Ryse Logan, Shawnee Seitz and Laura Wilkinson and close family friends, The West's, The Johnson's, The Gaither's, The Court's and The Riley's
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Everett and Juanita Sturgeon; Bud and Doris Battles; grandparents: Bobby and Sally Seitz; grandmother: Gwen Battles; grandfather: Jack Bacon; uncles: Sam Logan Jr, and Anthony Seitz.

This breaks my heart to see such a beautiful soul leave this world. I worked with her at the hospital after she became a nurse as I was a CNA. She was so pretty inside and out and one of the best nurses you could meet. Working with her was always a blessing, I will forever cherish her sweet soul. I give my condolences to her family and friends.

The first time I met Aubrey I was taken back by how pretty she was. She was a CNA and bath aid for my boyfriend after a hip replacement. We always would visit and laugh and do some talking while she was doing here paper work. I have kept up with her and was amazed by how much her daughter looks like her mom.
God bless your family.

I remember Aubrey from Balls Bar B-Q. She waited on us many times. Always greeting customers with a big smile and curly hair. She will be missed. Deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her.
