Aubrey Gene Bowers, age 79, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025. He was born on June 12, 1945, in Howe, Oklahoma, to Clayton and Evelyn (Phillips) Bowers.

Aubrey married his beloved wife, Sharon Bowers, on September 18, 1965, and together they shared a life full of love and memories. Aubrey will be remembered as a devoted family man who cherished his time with his children. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly mowing the lawn, and had a passion for watching wrestling. Aubrey worked diligently as a cemetery groundskeeper, demonstrating a strong work ethic that he passed on to his family. He was a role model to his children and family, teaching them the value of hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Bowers, and two siblings, Charolette and Leroy.

His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of his surviving family: his two children, Victor Bowers and Audra Bowers; three grandchildren, Raymond, Jacob, and Andrea; six great-grandchildren, Raymond, Anya, Ayla, Alexander, Joshua, and Asher; as well as his four siblings, Wayne, Linda, Cindy, and Bob.

A burial service for Aubrey will be held on April 4, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Oak Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Lewis Funeral Chapel.
