Aubrey Elizabeth McCarty

Aubrey Elizabeth McCarty, age 32, formerly of Longs, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in Bristol, PA. Aubrey is finally free from her battle with addiction.
She was born on May 18, 1991 in Machias, ME to Shawn Lee McCarty and Melinda Sue Frey McCarty. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather; Andy Pakes and uncle; Michael Thibeau.
Aubrey's struggle never undermined her beautiful giving spirit. Her kind soul always put others first. She loved to cook and worked at several jobs in food service. Her other loves included playing the piano, fishing, hunting, basketball, shooting guns and telling jokes.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her parents; Shawn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Melinda of Longs, SC, her maternal grandparents; Elwood and Melinda Reeves of Tabor City, NC, her paternal grandmother; Sylvia Dalrymple of Myrtle Beach, SC, her maternal great grandmother; Pauline Scott of Tabor City, NC, her aunts; Brandie Dalrymple of Myrtle Beach, SC and Shannon Jackson of Kentucky, her uncles; Kyle Reeves of Myrtle Beach, SC and Trey Reeves of Raleigh, NC, Cousins; Costas, Nick, Dally, Randy, Christopher, Korey, Kylie, and Trinity, and numerous other family members and friends.
A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Dulah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunday Love Project (Sundaylove.org) or Prevention Point Philadelphia (2913-15 Kensington Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134).
