Funeral services for Aubyn "Jean" Moore, age 99, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be 10:00AM, Friday, January 16, 2026,at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, Louisiana with Rev. Tony Campanale officiating. Interment will be in the Old Saline Cemetery in Saline, Louisiana at 3:00 PM.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:00AM - 10:00AM at First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph W. Moore; parents, Lafe Pence Frazier Sr. and Virgie Sue Frazier; two brothers, Lafe Pence Frazier Jr. and Charles Wayne Frazier; son-in-law, Paul Larry Bradley.
"Miss Jean" was a long and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, where she served as Church Secretary for 10 years and taught Sunday School and Acteens. She was retired from the La. State Welfare Department, where she served as clerical Supervisor from 1951 - 1976. She then went on to work for Rexall Drugs, then The Medicine Shoppe, from where she retired at the age of 96.
She was a member of the Red Hats Group where she treasured the fellowship and friendships she formed there and honed her skills at playing "Rook".
"Mumu" as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren was a fun loving grandmother and they have many memories an funny stories of their times spent with her. She was a Character.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Cecille Bradley of Monroe, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Paul Bradley (Ginger) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Patrick Bradley of Monroe, Louisiana, and Paige Bradley Pecoul of New Orleans, Louisiana; six great grandchildren, Claire Bradley, Jonathon Bradley, Andrew Bradley, Pearl Pecoul, Sadie Pecoul, Camille Pecoul; sister, Adele Noonan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
