Audra Mae Canterbury

Audra Mae Canterbury, 93, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023 with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Stella Wymer, sisters: Clyde Whitt and Olive Wymer, husband; Clarence Canterbury, son; Franklin Canterbury, and granddaughter; Kristina Van Buren.
She is survived by her children: Betty Rice (George) of Foster, WV, Bonnie McDaniel (R. L.) of Hemphill, TX, Charlotte Marion (Dan) of Middleburg, FL and Robert Canterbury (Rhonda) of Hurricane, WV. She has 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
Audra was a lifetime member, and the oldest member of Providence Baptist Church of Scott Depot. She enjoyed traveling and working with her hands. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. All that knew her loved her. The family wishes to thank Dignity Hospice for her care and Carolyn Neese for fixing her hair.
Funeral Service for Audra will be 11:00am Thursday April 27, 2023 at Providence Baptist Church, Scott Depot WV, with Rev. Mark Kilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Scott Depot WV.
Friends may visit the family an hour prior to the service.
