I was watching a show on television that mentioned a favorite teacher and I thought of Mrs. Ashburn, my 7th grade science teacher. She was wonderful. I can always remember her, literally, running from student to student in the science lab, smiling and having a great time teaching. What a great example she was!

Audrey was a neighbor here at Regency Woods Condos. She gave her time to make this a better place to live. We only shared a passing wave or worked on a project but she is one of those special people we will all miss.

Mrs. Ashburn was my 7th grade science teacher at Belton, MO. I have often thought of her fondly. She was a great teacher, and had many unique ways of teaching us. She made science fun and she had lots of great energy too. She really cared about us, even if she kicked you in the butt.

I too was a student of Mrs. Ashburn's 7th grade science class. Her spunk and energy made learning fun. She was a truly amazing woman that made a difference in every life she touched! To her family, you are in my prayers.

I was so lucky to have Mrs. Ashburn as a teacher. I loved science and she made learning fun. In fact she had a way of getting you to learn without you realizing it! She was a little firecracker! What lucky people we were to have had her share her talents with us. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am going to miss my Aunt Boots! Her youngest sister Helen was my mother who died back in April 2000. Aunt Boots kept me up to date on the events on her side of our family. She will always be a treasured memory in my thoughts and prayers. May God continue to bless my cousins Barry & Becky and family.

I feel very fortunate to have had Mrs. Ashburn as a teacher. Although science was not one of my strong subjects, I loved her classes. Her energy, patience and caring made her classes fun and learning effortless. The Belton school district was blessed to have had her...she was and is a treasure. May she rest in peace and the perpetual light shine upon her.

I loved having Mrs. Ashburn for 7th grade science! She was so full of spunk and was way ahead of her time! I remember her running around the classroom in her slippers. I was so fortunate to have her. I know she will be missed, but I am sure she will be keeping everyone on her toes in Heaven!

My sympathy to the Ashburn family. Mrs Ashburn was the most memorable teacher I ever had the joy of learning from. And she did make learning a joy! Thank you for sharing her with all of us who were lucky enough to have her as our teacher in Belton!
