Audrey Baxter

Arden – Audrey Baxter made her journey to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born in Haywood County on March 1, 1932, to the late Bill and Mary Earley. Audrey was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred William Baxter; her son Rodney Mabry; a very special aunt, Ola Hall; one brother, Wade Earley and three sisters: Hilda Pressley, Wilcie Reed and Betty Lou Clontz.
Audrey was an X-ray Technician for many years at the Haywood County Hospital, then worked within medical records at Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC for many years.
Audrey is survived by her son, Kevin Mabry; two grandsons: Aaron Mabry and Jared Mabry; one granddaughter, Caitlin Chavers and one great granddaughter, Henley Rose Mabry.
Memorial services will be held in the Trinity View Assisted Living Facility, Arden, NC at 3 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, with Chaplain Ken Langsdorf officiating. Audrey kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.
Audrey wiped the tears from her eyes and closed them on this earth, then opened her eyes again in Heaven. Her final destiny Hallelujah.
