Audrey Deegan Obituary
She was born July 9, 1935 in Erie, the daughter of Bernard Bargielski and Jean Brzezicki. On August 30, 1958, in St. Casmir's Catholic Church, Erie, PA, she married Raymond Edward Deegan, who died December 29, 2018.
Audrey was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy of Erie, PA. She attended Pittsburgh's Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her registered nurse certification.
She was a registered nurse at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport for many years.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Church and the Smethport Country Club.
Audrey is survived by:
Two daughters: Jean Marie (David Ingram) Deegan of Streator, IL and Mary T. (Scott) Deegan-Collins of Olean, NY
One son: Raymond A. (Kristine) Deegan of Odessa, FL
Grandchildren: Allan and Adam Ingram, Kayla, Connor and Mason Deegan, and Ashlyn Collins
One sister: RoseMarie Bargielski of Erie, PA
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaugter, Amber Ingram.
Visitation will be held privately. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 12 Noon, at St. Elizabeth Church, Smethport. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Smethport.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Elizabeth Church Building Fund, or a charity of a donor's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.hartle-tarboxfuneralhomes.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., Smethport.
