Audrey M. Dumond, 92, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
Born July 30, 1933 to Orrie and Hilda (Wicke) Dumond in Owosso, she was raised there. In January of 1951, she married Melvin L. Kidney. Audrey completed her Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate and worked in home health care. She worked on the dairy farm and did some housekeeping, but most of all, she enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Audrey was an avid reader, who loved nothing more than sitting by the AuSable River reading a book. She also enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and working jigsaw puzzles.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tim) Courter, her son Leslie (Sandy) Kidney, 17 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Debbie Tyson and Karen Kohl and her son Ronald Kidney.
Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
