With hearts both heavy and grateful, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Audrey Faye Hensley, who was called to her eternal rest on March 16, 2026. Born on February 12, 1936, Audrey lived a life deeply rooted in faith, love, and devotion—an inspiring testament to a soul who loved the Lord with all her heart.
Audrey was a radiant light in this world, a woman of great wisdom, compassion, and unwavering kindness. She cherished her family profoundly, lovingly guiding and nurturing them as a devoted wife and a compassionate mother and the sweetest grandmother. Her days were marked by a gentle spirit and boundless generosity, always giving graciously to those around her. Audrey’s love extended beyond her immediate family; she adored people and shared her warmth and care unreservedly. Not least among her affections were the tender creatures she held dear—her beloved cats, treasured companions who brought joy to her days.
Though our hearts ache with the loss of her earthly presence, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who have gone before her—the faithful husband she so dearly loved, Pastor Bruce Hensley; her cherished parents, Floyd and Myrtle Lynch; and her dear siblings, Delores (Pete) Gulley, Mabel (Paul) Moore, and Orville Lynch. Their reunion reminds us all of the promise of everlasting life through Christ Jesus, where sorrow is no more and love is eternal.
Audrey leaves behind a legacy of faith and love cherished by her children, Mike (Sue) Hensley and Caren Hensley, and her grandchild, Andy (Ivelis) Hensley. May their hearts be strengthened by the Lord’s grace as they remember the gifts their mother and grandmother bestowed—her wisdom, her care, and her unfaltering devotion to family and faith.
We invite all who knew and loved Audrey to gather in remembrance and prayer on March 19, 2026, at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 PM. Let us celebrate a life well lived, a steadfast believer, and a beacon of God’s love in our world.
May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of all who mourn, and may Audrey Faye Hensley rest eternally in the loving arms of our Savior. Amen.
