Audrey M. Turnvall

Audrey M. Turnvall, 92, entered into Eternal Rest surrounded by her family on January 30, 2022.

Born in the Bronx on June 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Salle. She graduated from Walton High School and later moved to the local area. She enjoyed working for GE and later the Schenectady Police Department as an assistant to the 9-1-1 dispatchers. She loved her time working with the Senior Aide Program in Schenectady Co. and closer to retirement, worked as a greeter at Walmart. Audrey was a warm, kind-hearted soul who took care of everyone. She was a loving mother and proud grandmother.

Married for over 20 years, Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Edward, in 1982.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Ann Marie Proper (Edward Jr.) and grandsons, Edward and Joseph Turnvall-Proper, several nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4 Atrium Dr. #100, Albany, NY 12205. A visitation will be held on Friday 4-7 p.m. at The White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave. (Rte 50), Scotia. The funeral service will begin on Saturday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church, 231 Second St., Scotia.
