Audria A. "Lucy" Ballard, 85 of Youngstown, OH departed this life November 10, 2025 at 5:20 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital Main Campus, following complications from an extended illness.

She was born May 16, 1940 in Quitman, Miss., the daughter of Claude and Maitron Hollirs Young, residing in Detroit, MI, then moving to Youngstown.

Audria was employed as a Health Care Associate for many years. She also served on the Usher Board in Toledo, OH and was a former member of the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Youngstown.

She enjoyed ballet dancing, dancing to old school music, ice skating, playing cards, baking from scratch, cooking and watching old school TV shows, especially Sanford and Son.

She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Ms. Kimberly Young of Toledo, OH and Mrs. Tanya (Clifford) Wylie, caregivers of Youngstown, OH; two step sons, Terry Porter and Kelvin Porter both of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Ms. Phyllis Doby and Ms. Loretta Hodge; one brother, Lawrence "Larry" Young; four grandchildren, Mrs. Lytanya (Blaine) Currie, Joe Juan Young, Joe Young and Tawan Young; several great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Maitron Young; five siblings, Dolores Scott, Sylvia Castle Erry, Stanley Young, Mary Sherron and Jerry Young.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 12 noon at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 2821 Hillman Street, Youngstown, OH 44507, with Calling Hours from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
