Audrii was an extraordinary child that touched the lives of everyone who she knew. She will be remembered for her radiant smile that filled every room she entered with joy. Audrii was a happy, loving child that enjoyed things like singing and dancing. She was an artist and loved to paint; some of her artwork hangs in her school at Creekside Elementary where she was a 5th grader. Audrii was a kind and compassionate soul, and an animal lover, especially to her cats and dogs. She touched so many lives, in her short 11 years on earth, of not only the people that knew and loved her but her entire community. She will always be remembered, and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone.
She is survived by her mother, Cassie Matthews; father, Joshua Lee Cunningham; grandparents, Phillip & Tabitha Munsch and Mark & Annie Cedars; brother, Evan Cunningham; sister, Acacia Matthews- Goodman; aunt, Julie; uncles, Dakota- Sky, Brian, Brendon, and Jason; Her classmates and teachers at Creekside elementary, as well as many other family members, friends, and a host of friends.

A Visitation for Audrii will be open to the public and held from 5:00p- 8:00p, March 1, 2024, at First Baptist Church, at 106 Colt Rd, Livingston, TX 77351.
A Private Rosary for Audrii will be held at 10:30a, March 2, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial will follow for close friends and family at 11:00a, with Fr. Paul Kahan, SVD, officiating.
A special Thank You is extended to the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Byron Lyons, Texas Rangers, FBI, Texas Equusearch, Polk County District Attorney's office, Polk County First Responders, and county wide Fire Departments, T.R.A. and any other persons or agencies that helped in the search efforts and support for Audrii.
In lieu of flowers Please make donations to the VFW Post 8568, all proceeds will go to the Texas Equusearch and other charities for the child and victims of violent crimes for the remarkable efforts to bring Audrii home.

I love Audrii I still remember we went to Elementry together and we were best friends and you were the only friend I had and I went down to the Trinity river and I went to go put your favorite flowers by your cross and I miss you Audrii and I am so sorry that you had to deal with that you were my best friend in Elementry we went to Elementry I wish I knew were you got baried so I can come see you but I don't know and if you would of seen me you would of gave me a big hug because we have not seen each other in a long time and I cried and I cried and cried and cried and prayed and prayed for you. and your family probably don't know me but it is ok because I am one of your friend we used to play together when we was in Elementry we used to have fun a lot of fun LOVE YOU AUDRII. - BY Raelynn lewis

A year has passed precious angel and you are so greatly missed. There is never a day as I pass the river that I do not shed a tear for this tragedy and your pain. There is never a time I see purple that you do not come to my mind. You will be in the hearts of an entire town, a nation for ever. You left a legacy that has made people more vigilant and you brought this community together. RIP Audrii....You are missed.

I did not know you but your tragedy made me a more vigilant grandmother and it made me question everything and everyone that comes into contact with my precious grandbabies. For that I am grateful. I am heartbroken for your pain and suffering but you are now safe in the arms of your maker and no more harm will come to you. As with so many others, I too did not have the blessing of meeting you Audrii. Your story brings this old man to tears, I am sooo torn apart by this. My sincerest condolences to your whole family, a family that obviously cherished you child. Know this too, your story will ring into eternity, because your Lord and Savior is the King of kings and the Lord of lords! There are no surprises with Him, and there are no strangers in heaven.

I did not know little Audrii, but have been absolutely heartbroken for what happened to her. I am not just saying this, but she just looked and appeared to be such a beautiful precious soul. I have just been sick over this, can´t imagine what family and those that knew her are feeling. Her picture shows genuine kindness and a pure heart. Lord God be with those that loved her and are hurting now. I believe she is in your arms now Lord. I hope to see her myself in heaven someday. I never knew her but love her with everything in me.
