Aurora Sanchez Reyes Obituary
Mercedes, Texas - Aurora Sanchez Reyes, 79, passed away to be with the Lord on November 10, 2025 at Mercedes, Texas.
Aurora Sanchez Reyes was born on January 20, 1946 in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi Mexico to Mr. Adolfo Sanchez and Mrs. Felipa Reyes Sanchez.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Ruben Bustamante and her sister Ofelia Hernandez.
Aurora Sanchez Reyes is survived by her son, Javier Bustamante (Isabel Salinas), her daughters Maria Wilkie (Richard), Neri Bustamante (Rolando Rosas); her brothers Adolfo, Mario and Joe Sanchez; her sisters Beatrice Martinez, Guadalupe Castorena and Nancy Barajas; her grandchildren, Christopher, Diana, Bethany, Madison, Caitlin, Ruby, Eric, Anika, Rylee; her great-grandchildren, Sofia, Charlotte, Sai and Jude.
Visitation for Aurora Sanchez Reyes is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace . Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Mercedes. Aurora Sanchez Reyes will be cremated at a later date at Val Verde Memorial Crematory.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
