Weslaco- Aurora Tafolla, 75, gained her wings on Monday, April 11, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center.
Mrs. Aurora Tafolla was born on April 9, 1947 to Mr. Jesus Tafolla and Mrs. Casimira Tafolla in Weslaco, Texas.
Mrs. Tafolla is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Guadalupe Tafolla, Francisco Tafolla, Andres Tafolla, Jesus Tafolla; her son: Guadalupe Mendez Jr.; her daughter: Farrah Lynn Tafolla; her grand daughter: Deborah Lynn Salinas.
Left to cherish her memories is her Loving Husband: Severo Tafolla; her sons: Lee Mendez & Paul Mendez; her daugthers: Aurora M. (Joe) Salinas, Jacqueline (Juan) Rodriguez, Brenda Tafolla, Jamie Tafolla, Priscilla Tafolla; her sister: Eva Smith; 25 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren.
Aurora was a God fearing Woman of God. She spent her years preaching his word saving lives for his kingdom along side with her husband. Aurora was a hard working woman who always worked hard to provide for her family. During summer times Aurora and her husband would travel to Littlefield, Texas to work in the agricultural fields. She taught her children the value of working hard and always wanted the best for her family. She was a very giving person and always put the needs of others before hers. When Aurora would preach in church, you would feel the anointing of Gods presence in her voice. Aurora was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She always made time to spend with her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Visitation for Mrs. Aurora Tafolla is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
