Austin Mark Douglas, 22, died unexpectedly Monday October 2, 2023.
Austin was born in Forsyth County, NC on November 11, 2000, to Jonathan Douglas and Robin Myers. He was employed by Buck Enterprises where he worked as an electrician. Austin attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where he was baptized and saved at an early age. Austin enjoyed playing video games, shooting guns and playing football, basketball, and baseball. He loved to be outside, riding four wheelers and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Myers and Robin Crooks.
Austin is survived by his mother, Robin Stupakewciz (Brad Shelton); father, Jonathan Douglas (Crystal); stepfather, Peter Stupakewciz; step siblings, Nathan Douglas, sister, Jayden Smith, Kayelyn, Trey and Eli Stupakewciz; paternal grandparents, Peggy Douglas and Stephen Douglas; uncle, Jeremy Douglas (Jordan), Aunt Christy Crowe(Delmar), cousins, Lauren, Michael and Ryan, and numerous other family members and friends.
There will be an 11:00 AM Celebration of Life Service held on Saturday October 28, 2023, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Duncan and Pastor Delmar Crowe officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall where a reception will be held in his memory.
