Austin Martinez Obituary
He was born May 23, 1996, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was a welder at HEC Manufacturing and a member of American Legion Post No. 87, where he served as vice commander for the Sons of The American Legion. He was very passionate about playing music and loved fishing. He was a very helpful and caring person, who always tried to put his friends and family first.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Louis Grider Sr. and Toby Martinez Sr.; and a great-grandfather, Walter Thompson.
Austin is survived by his wife, Brenna Jury; his parents, Toby Martinez Jr and Lisa Martinez; a sister, Brianna Martinez; his two grandmothers, Sherrial Martinez and Rose Simpson; a great-grandmother, Anna Thompson; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorie Jury (Keith); and several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
A graveside service is at 2:30 p.m. CST Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Logsdon Cemetery in Clarkson.
Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. CST Monday and continues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m CST Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home in Clarkson.
