"A beautiful soul is not forgotten." Austin, my friend, I am still reeling from the news of your passing. Still, it is difficult to accept. When I transferred down to SEC from Media nine years ago, you instantly welcomed me to the new campus. Every afternoon as I arrived to work, I could always count on your "hellos," you stopping back later in the resource center to briefly chit chat, exchange a few jokes, and making sure that all was running as it should. And yes, Connie and I are still complaining about the heating system! However it is my sincerest hope that you knew how much people loved and appreciated you. You are one of the kindest, most generous, and thoughtful men I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Austin, you will be forever missed. To his family, please accept my deepest, heartfelt condolences. Austin was one of a kind, and we were blessed to have known him.

I am so sad that Austin is no longer with us. He was a truly genuine person. What a personality! He was someone who really understood how to connect with people. From the first time I met him I felt like we'd known each other for years. And he made me laugh on numerous occasions without even trying, that was just how he was. Although friendly and upbeat, he could be firm when the situation called for it, and I always felt like he had our backs at SEC. He was so nice to my mother when I brought her there one day. She went on and on about what a nice personality he has! He would always ask me about her and about my kids. And you could tell he really cared about his family because of the way he talked about them. I wish his family and friends and everyone at SEC much comfort and peace at this difficult time. I'll miss you very much, Austin.

Austin I am deeply saddened and having a hard time accepting that we have lost you. You were such a big part of the Southeast Center at Delaware County Community College. You were always kind, a true gentleman, and friendly. You always took such great care looking after the campus and everyone who passed through those doors. You have left behind a void that cant be filled. I hope you know how well you were loved. Rest In Peace my friend.

I wish I could have seen you one last time. Maybe I could have changed your mind. All of the reasons you needed to stay. You took the one and went away. So many will miss you here, dear Austin, especially yours truly. I hope your family finds comfort knowing that you were loved and will be missed by so many. Rest easy, brother man.

When I taught Saturday morning classes at Southeast Center , Austen was always there to provide a friendly welcome. He was always upbeat and helpful. We had many great conversations. He was a great person and a caring human being. May he rest in peace, and may his family take solace that Austen touched so many lives with his great spirit. He will be missed enormously.

Austin was a wonderful person, coworker, and friend. He made an effort each day to check in with everyone at DCCC and chat for a few minutes; he brightened many days with those friendly conversations. Students at our campus always mentioned how welcoming he was as well. He will be greatly missed.

Peace and sympathy to Austin's family. Rest in peace, my friend. I worked with Austin at DCCC and he always, always, took the time to ask how I was doing, what was going on in my life, etc. I always appreciated and enjoyed how he checked on me and my classroom. Heaven has gained another angel, and we have lost a good buddy. Treasure the good memories and sincere condolences to Austin's family and friends.
