Avery Nicole Anderson

Avery Nicole Anderson February 29, 2024 - March 8th 2026. We had 1,061,280 minutes of life and joy with Avery.

Visitation will be from 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m., Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road, Dubuque. A Service of Remembrance will immediately follow at 3:00p.m., and will be livestreamed at: https://vimeo.com/event/5786705

Her parents(Kyle and Rebekah) along with her two older sisters Addie and Sylvia will live with her joy in our hearts. Avery was not a people person, but her short life still made an impact on those around her.

Though her time was brief, Avery will be remembered for many reasons. Notably her love of toys small enough to make her doctors and nurses nervous, climbing anything she could, her love of books that her parents quoted from memory during her final moments, her love of her one eared stuffed dog named Bear Bear, and her new found love of ducks(quack quack).

May her smiles, side-eye, and the memory of her laugh live long in our hearts. May you always find joy in the unexpected places, like gabapentin syringes, medicine labels, and empty boxes.

Avery's life was small in years but immeasurable in love, and her presence touched all who knew her. Avery is loved by an extended family: Grandparents Kent and Ann Anderson and Jim and Christine Dekker; Uncles Eric and Chris Andererson and Aunties Hanna and Kait Dekker; numerous Great Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
