I was a coworker of Avery's at K-State. He was such a pleasure to work with; so organized and helpful. He had a clever sense of humor too, and picked up on everything. Students instinctively turned to him for assistance as he generally knew so much about the university and he would point them in the right direction with a smile on his face. Yes, he will be missed by very many from all walks of life. My condolences to his family. Please know he will live on in the memories of many. May he rest in peace.

I have a lot of really good memories of Avery.
I remember him watching my dog Max anytime I had to leave town. I swear my dog loved Avery more than me.
I remember when he told us he was in to this girl he worked with at KFC who later became his wife.
I´ll never forget hanging out in the back yard of his duplex after he worked with his dad to install a fence. A bird pooped on my head. He cried laughing trying to convince me it was good luck.
I have years and years of just the best memories of Avery. Some I can share and some I can´t. He was a dear friend. I loved him like a brother.
As my two children grow up they will hear stories of my younger days and a lot of those stories will have Avery in them.
Even right now I can´t picture Avery with anything other than a smile or a laugh. He was a goofy guy who was always wanting to just hang out even if you weren´t doing anything.
I will miss him dearly.
Avery was a very important part of our close knit group of friends. He was the only one who was ever trying to talk sense in to everyone. He was our rock.
Avery will be forever missed.
Love you man.
