I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your love one. I enjoyed reading her life story especially her love for orphaned animals and her love of books. I am sorry you must deal with such a loss. May the God of comfort give you strength and help you endure this trial.

May loving memories warm your heart and may God's Word bring comfort and strength during this difficult time. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17

Having known Avis son Brian for more than a decade, and having just read her obituary, I am not surprised such an exemplary person would have a son meriting a similar description ,and I have no hesitancy in surmising that Brians brothers Geoffrey and Linus are similar beneficiaries of Avis maternal love, kindness and wisdom. To her sons and their families I offer my condolences and leave them with the words of the poet Lawrence Binion as it pertains to their beloved parents Avis and Warren: At the going down of the sun, And in the morning, We shall remember them. May God comfort you now and bless you always. Manus Isensee
