Azalee Graham Obituary
Mrs. Azalee Fortson Graham, age 76 of Bryant Street in Royston, Ga., formerly of Bowman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 16, 1947 Royston, Ga., to the late Boyd Fortson and Elsie Brown Fortson. Azalee retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to sew and spend time with her family.
Left to cherish her memories are; her daughter, Donna Graham (Billy Wade), siblings, William "Dick" Fortson, Royston, Ga., Dwight Fortson, Bowman, Ga., Mack Fortson, Bowman, Ga., Wanda Shaw, Royston, Ga., and Andy Fortson, Canon, Ga., grandson, Benjamin Wade. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Travis and Jamie Graham, and siblings, Delores Fortson and Teresa Fortson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, with Rev. Leon Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman..
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3 just prior to the service.
Family members will be at the home of Wanda Shaw, 15 Bryant Street in Royston.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
