B. Ames Obituary
B. Jean (Anthony) Ames, age 96, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Clinton N. and Bertha Popeney Ames.
Jean worked at the Erie County Library, where she enjoyed helping customers with genealogy searches. She was also an artist and taught at various locations throughout Erie. Her long companionship with Judith Wieczorek became the core of her life adventures. She will be missed by many.
Family genealogy is located at Crawford Co. Historical Society, Meadville, PA.
