Yemi, you were a blessing in my life always a friend always there. I owe everything from my career to reconnecting with my son to you. You were always there for everyone else and you made caring for people your life. If I could give a billion dollars to bring you back I would but I know how hard you struggled. I will always think of you.

Uncle, The news of your sudden death came to me as a surprise. During the time of your soujourn in this world which is full of pains and sorrows, I had the opportunity to meet you three times: in 1996 when you came to Lagos, Nigeria, in July 2002 when you came for the burial of Honourable Adeola, your beloved father, and in March 2006 when I came to visit you in Greensboro, NC from NYC. I had a discussion with you and your reaction was very impressive and that culminated to the emigration of my people. U love me and my family. U were always happy with the progress of my children. I will really miss you, especially the way u always call me "Awe" (friend) anytime we speak on phone. U were very friendly and reliable. The most unfortunate part is my inability to come and greet you in your place before you left us here. Though u are gone but the memories of your kindness towards me and my family shall never be forgotten for a long time. It is my prayer that God Almighty in His mercies and compassion forgive your sins and make u to rest in peace. Amen. May your gentle soul rest in the bossom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Uncle, gud nite!

Uncle, The bad news of your sudden death came to me as a surprise. During the course of your soujourn in this life full of sorrows and pains, we met three times: 1996 when you came to Nigeria, in July 2002 when you came to Ijero for the burial of Honourable Adeola, your beloved father, and in March 2006 when I came to visit you in Greensboro, NC from NYC. I had a discussion with you at Greensboro which u happily embraced and that is what germinated to emigration of my people. The echo of "Awe" ( friend ) which u always call me anytime we speak on phone will never be forgotten. U took my family as yours and u were always happy at the progress of my children. U were a rare gem and a person with very good mind towards others. It is really unfortunate that you left us so early bcos someone like you are not common to meet always. My plan of coming to greet you in your place is not achievable for ever! U have left behind a good name and character that is worthy of emulation. It is my prayer that God in His mercies and compassion will forgive your sins and make ur very friendly soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. Uncle, Gud nite and sleep in the bossom of the Lord.
