Babette Thomasy

Babette was born on September 22, 1923 and passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Babette was a resident of Eltingville, New York at the time of passing. She volunteered as a teacher in their CCD program, as well as being both a Girl and Cub Scout leader, she was a Eucharist Minister, a member of the Rosary Society, St. Clare;s Mother's Club, the Varsity Club and the Blue Army of Fatima Unit, where she organized and led many pilgrimages both home and abroad. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m and from 6-8 p.m. at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. 28 Eltingville Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday beginning at 9:45 a.m. at the Church of St. Clare's.
