Mason “Chubbs” Bufford took his final rest on September 9, 2025. Mason’s presence, laughter, half smile, and light will be missed more than his parents have the words to describe.
A star so beautiful and bright faded away too soon. Mason “Chubbs” Bufford was born on May 31, 2025, to his loving parents, Alisha Bradford (mother); and James Bufford, (father). His appearance, relatively early by doctor’s calculations, was truly the blessing for which his parents had been praying.
His chubby little smiley face lit up the room and made everyone in his presence beam with pride and joy. During his three short months here on Earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.
Though Chubbs was with his family for only a brief moment, he changed the lives of all he touched forever. Our family, burdened with the unbearable pain of losing him, is forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with our loving baby, “Chubbs,”
Mason is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Pettis, and sister Kailyn Bufford.
Mason is survived by his loving family, parents, Alisha and James; Terrence and Dena Bufford (grandparents); Ellis Banks II (brother); Jaiden Bufford (brother); Kasia Bufford (sister); Reginald Miller, (uncle); and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
