TO THE FAMILY OF BAILEY EDWARD HOOKS:
Dear Melba,
The untimely death of Bailey was received with shock and much sadness. Please accept our personal and sincere condolences. Our friendship over the years are important entries in my book of memories.
As I reflect back Bailey was not only an amazing person but a giving person who in his own way was always looking for ways to make life better for his family and others. He was a kind and distinguished gentleman of much class, goodness, character and morality. Without question, he will be profoundly missed.
Our heart aches at our loss, but his legacy will always be with us. So, at the end of that last tour of duty and hearing the sound of that final all aboard' call we should all come to realize that a life lived believing, giving, caring and loving your family is the only life that really matters.
'Hope' is like the sun, which, as we journey toward, cast the shadow of our burdens behind it. So, let your 'hopes', not your hurts, shape your future and always hold to the belief, and the conviction that there is a better life, and a better world awaits us beyond the horizon. With that in mind let the wings of 'hope' carry the Hooks family, soaring high above the driving winds of life keeping in mind that 'hope' is faith holding out its hand in the dark
May the hope found in Gods' word out weigh the grief the family feels? Please know that I am sadden by his departure but blessed with the fact of knowing Heaven has just gained another angel.
Gone from our eyes, but not forgotten in our hearts.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. Psalms 116:15.
