LIMA -- Barbara "Barb" A. Archer, 91, passed away December 26, 2024, at 6:05 am, at Kessler Estates.
Barb was born April 22, 1933 in Lima, OH, to Leslie and Goldie (Moorman) Roberts who both preceded her in death. On March 3, 1984 she married Norman E. Archer who preceded her in death on September 30, 2024.
Barb graduated from Lima South High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life and was an exceptional cook. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing the piano and working in the woods. Barb cherished her husband Norman and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren dearly.
Barb is survived by her children, Michael "Mike" Beckett of Elida, OH, William "Bill" Archer of Westminster, OH, Connie (Beckett) Sparks of Emerson, WA, Robert "Bob" Archer of Sarasota, FL, Joseph "Joe" Losh of Croton, OH, Kelly (Losh) Wright of Westerville, OH, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her six siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00am at Westminster Abbey Church, 6650 Faulkner Road, Harrod, OH 45850. Pastor Dave Burkhart to officiate the service. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Abbey Church.
