Dear Battista family, Ben and I are so deeply sorry for your loss. She was a happy, caring, and friendly person. We did not know of her passing until today February 17. We loved your Mom and your Dad-Dicky. It would take pages to tell years of great memories and laughter.
Please pass along our sincere condolences to your family.
.We would have been there, of course, but you will always be in our prayers.
Love,
Ben and Jo Ann Spinelli

Hi my friend when I would see you coming my mom would let me loose and I would take off into your arms. You would give me such loving hugs and rubs and the best part my pretty lady is you would bring me scraps of steak. Wow it was great and when you put it away I heard you laughing when I pulled the bag out and tried to eat the rest. Bow wow will miss you. I miss you so much already....you my besty Sunni

My parents, Tom and Rita Cannizzo, were very good friends with Barbara. I heard lots of wonderful things about Barbara from them. I finally had the pleasure meeting Barbara at my parent´s apartment, where Barbara lived also. What a lively, friendly, and very caring person. We felt like we knew each other for ages since my parents obviously spoke about both of us. She would come to my parents apartment every evening to watch Jeopardy together. I was at the apartment very often to help my parents move out so I saw Barbara regularly. She always said how much she loved my parents and would miss them when they moved. Barbara was also a great cook and brought my parents many meals. Barbara will be missed by many people. She was a rare person with so much love to give. My condolences to all who knew her.
