Barbara Bean Obituary
Barbara Joyce Bean
Barbara, born June 27, 1954, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026 in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she lived for the last 25 years.
Predeceased by parents Sam and Alice Bea Bean, she is survived by her four siblings, Marguerite, Linda, Merrill and Sammy.
Barbara taught elementary education in Las Cruces, most recently kindergarten at East Picacho Elementary School, until she retired in 2024.
Barbara was an active member of the Desert Oasis Church (1640 Hickory Loop, Suite 101) where a celebration of life service will be held Sunday January 18th at 2:20 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Spay and Neuter Action Program (SNAP) in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
