Barbara E. Binkley, 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, November 7, 2025.
She was born on October 19, 1955, in Rochester, Indiana, and was the daughter of Lewis E. and Bertha (McGowen) Johnson. She graduated from the last class of Mentone High School in 1974. On September 24, 1983, she married William Binkley in Talma, IN.
Barbara worked for Price's Dry Cleaners. Caring, loving, and a woman full of candor are just a few words that describe Barbara. A wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who made sure her family came first before anything else.
She enjoyed bowling, planting, and watching her floral garden blossom, capturing every memory with a photo, traveling, and vacationing in the Bahamas. Holidays were also special to her, especially Christmas.
Barbara was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plymouth and the Plymouth Moose Lodge #741.
She is survived by her husband William of Plymouth; Daughters: Ashley Corwin of Plymouth; Angela Binkley of Plymouth; grandchildren: Logan Binkley, Chelse Corwin, Lucas Corwin and Lyam Ganshorn; and her brother Stanley (Carolyn) Johnson of Talma; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, brother James Johnson and grandson Alexander James.
