Barbara was one of only two females from the Streator Township High School class of 1962 to join the military. A very caring and compassionate person, many of her former classmates continued to stay in touch with Barbara after she moved from Streator. I will miss her presence on our Class of 1962 interest group.

I´m sorry to read of Barb´s passing. While in Streator she lived behind our fire station. She had this electrical gadget designed to grow hair, by messaging the scalp. Three of us had Barb try it on us, unfortunately it didn´t work. Shortly after the experiment Barb moved to Arkansas and I never saw her again but I never forgot her.
