I would like first to convey my condolences to my Aunt Carol's family. I first met her when she and Uncle Garcia married, I was in the 5th grade, I so admired her, she wasn't much older than I and she had the ability to talk to me and help me understand the changes I was going through as a young almost teen in the 60s, a very turbulent time in all our lives. She was the most intelligent person I ever met and as a child I was amazed over her intelligence. My husband and I went to Fort Knox in 1978 to share Thanksgiving with her and Uncle Garcia and my little cousins, wonderful day and great meal. The ride there spectacular. That was the last time I saw Aunt Carol, but I always asked Garcia about her and was very proud of her accomplishments and the great work she did.
