I am so sorry to hear of Barb's passing and offer my deepest condolences to her family, friends, and other loved ones.

I knew Barb well when we attended North Toronto CI after she moved over from St. Clements in grade 10. We shared some classes (she was always the best student) and we played cello together in the orchestra. Once I visited her home on Old Forest Hill Dr. and admired her family's 'togetherness', and once again saw her at her mother's home on Carlton/Sherbourne a few years ago.

I remember Barb as a beacon of optimism, a naturally radiant in person, with an infectious laugh and gentle smile. I am certain she gave of herself freely and encountered and harboured no ill-will to anyone. In short, Barb was a wonderful human being.

May she rest in peace and hope that what she gave to others during her life will ensure for generations to come, and will provide some solace during this difficult time.

I am so grateful I got to know Barbara. We had many long, wonderful conversations about Canada, hockey, New York, media, marketing and much more. I will miss her very much. My prayers and condolences to her children whom she loved so very much and her family & friends.
